Second Pacific Islands Dermatology Joint Stakeholder Meeting

Second stakeholder meeting 17 June 2026

On 17 June, leaders and partners from across the region gathered in Suva, Fiji for the 2nd Pacific Islands Dermatology Joint Stakeholders Meeting.

Representatives from the Pacific Dermatology Training Centre (PDTC), Pacific Dermatology Ltd, the International League of Dermatological Societies, the International Foundation for Dermatology, the World Health Organization Western Pacific Region, Fiji National University, the Pacific Dermatology Trust, the Pacific Leprosy Foundation, Dermatocracy, the Ministry of Health & Medical Services – Fiji, and delegates from several Pacific Island nations came together to advance a shared vision for improving skin health across the region.

The meeting brought together dermatology leaders, educators, policymakers, and heal

th professionals from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Kiribati, and Samoa.

Together, participants explored opportunities to strengthen dermatology training, workforce development, research,

partnerships, and access to skin health services throughout the Pacific.
